Micromax launches Canvas Infinity with 5.7-inch 18:9 display

Micromax has launched the Canvas Infinity smartphone in India just as it promised. It comes with 5.7-inches 18:9 display with narrow bezels design that quite resembles the LG Q6 that was launched earlier. It is powered by the Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM.  The Micromax Canvas Infinity is priced at Rs. 9999 and will be exclusively available via Amazo.in via flash sales. The registrations for Canvas infinity has started for the sale on 1st September.

Micromax Canvas Infinity Specifications: The device sports a 5.7-inches 18:9 (1440*720) HD+ 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425SoC clocked at 1.4GHz Quad-Core processor with Adreno 308 GPU coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage that is further expandable via microSD card. It runs on Android 7.1.2 with a promise to Android 8.0 Oreo update in the future.

Talking about the camera, the Micromax Canvas Infinity features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash,f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size, 81.5-degree FOV, 5P lens, 1080p video recording. On the front is a 16-megapixel camera with LED Flash,f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size, 81.5-degree FOV, 5P lens, 1080p video recording. It comes with a fingerprint sensor on the rear side for extra protection.

Under the hood is a user removable 2900mAh battery that fuels the Micromax Canvas Infinity. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB OTG. Let’s see how well can the Micromax Infinity compete against the recently launched, LG Q6.
