Mahindra & Mahindra has launched a new mild Intelli-Hybrid variant of the new generation Scorpio S10 2WD variant at Rs. 12.84 lakh for Mumbai-based customers. Moreover, the other variants of the Scorpio starting from S4 models will also be equipped with the same hybrid technology as in Scorpio S10 ZWD.
According to company sources, the new Intelli-Hybrid technology is designed to reduce fuel consumption by up to seven percent by helping the engine with the required electric power during acceleration. It also automatically switches the engine off while the vehicle is stationary mode. Furthermore, the technology refreshes brake energy while applying brakes to charge the battery.
Available on all Scorpio trims which are powered by the 2.2-litre mHawk engine, the Intelli-Hybrid technology is designed for vehicles that make 120PS and 280Nm of torque.
