LG India has officially brought the LG X Screen smartphone to India. The USP of the new device from LG is an additional second screen placed right on top of the primary display. The smartphone will be available in India exclusively at Snapdeal from 20 July onwards at a price of Rs. 12,990.
The X Screen is essentially a mid-range device having 4.93 inches HD (1280X720) IPS display. An always on secondary ‘ticker’ display is situated just above the main display. This 1.76-inch additional display has a resolution of 520X80 pixels.

The secondary display is used to show notifications for calls or messages without having to switch on the main display or without disturbing user activity on the main screen. It can act as a digital clock or can be used to display short personal message or your name. As it is always on, you can see it anytime you wish.

The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 (1.2 GHz quad-core) processor with Adreno 306 GPU. The device has 2 GB of RAM onboard with 16 GB of inbuilt storage capacity, which can be increased up to 256 GB by inserting a microSD card.
There is a 13 MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and an 8 MP front camera with face-detection. The phone can record FULLHD (1080 X 1920) videos at 30 frames per second. The back of the X Screen is made of an impact-resistant fiberglass. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. A 2300mAH battery provides juice to the device. It is a dual-SIM, dual-standby mobile with two nano SIM card slots.

The LG X Screen is a 4G-enabled device with support for all bands of 4G present in India. It has an 802.11 b/g/n WiFi with WiFi-Direct and DLNA facilities. The device comes with Bluetooth v4.1 (LE), GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS and an FM Radio. NFC is also available.
