LG has added two new smartphones to its X-series product lineup in South Korea. The LG X5 and the LG X Skin are budget handsets with HD displays and out of the box 4G LTE support. The company had also launched the LG X Power handset last month.
Both the LG X5 and LG X Skin smartphones come powered by the same 1.3GHz quad-core processor, with 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). The smartphones run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and support dual-SIM. The LG X5 comes with a 5.5 inches HD (1280×720) IPS display while the LG Skin comes with a 5 inches HD (1280×720) IPS display. The LG X5 has 2GB of RAM powered by a 2800mAH battery and the LG X Skin has 1.5 GB of RAM with a 2100mAH battery. LG X5 measures 151.6×76.9×7.2 mm and weighs 133 grams.

The LG X5 sports a 13 MP rear camera and the LG X Skin has an 8MP rear camera. Both the handsets come with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an array of connectivity options such as 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, and micro-USB.
The LG X5 is priced at 200,000 South Korean Won (about Rs. 11,700) and will be available in White and Black colors. The LG X Skin has been priced at 231,000 South Korean Won (about Rs. 13,500) and will be available in Gold and Titanium colors. As of now, LG has not yet revealed availability plans of the LG X5 and LG X Skin smartphones outside South Korea.
Globally, last month LG had launched the LG X Max, LG X Mach, LG X Power, and LG X Style smartphones.
