LG V20 to go official in India today: Things to know

LG V20 will officially launch in India today. Few days before its launch, Mumbai-based smartphone seller disclosed its price and confirmed its availability in India. However, we can’t ascertain those reports to be true.

Mumbai-based Mahesh Telecom took to Twitter and posted a message, which mentions the price of the handset along with pictures. It states that the phone costs Rs. 54999. Mahesh Telecom offers exciting Buyback offers, where you can exchange your old working smartphone with the new handset. Even though the retail price is listed as Rs. 60,000, you can grab LG V20 at Rs. 54,999, which is stated as the best buy price.

LG V20 Specifications and Features

On the specifications front, the LG V20 features a 5.7-inch QHD Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protected display with a pixel density of 513PPI. The smartphone features Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 530 graphics, 4GB RAM alongside 32GB/64GB internal storage.

The rear camera is equipped with a 16MP and 8MP dual sensors with f/1.8 and f/2.4 aperture. The LG V20 ships with 5MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture. A 3200mAh battery with fast charging technology completes the package.

LG V20 has landed in India after nearly a month of its launch in the United States and Canada. In the US, LG managed to sell nearly 200,000 units in just 10 days after its launch. If you make a comparison, this figure is almost double the volume of the previous counterpart, LG V10.
