LeEco has finally announced the availability of grey color variant of its popular budget segment offering, LeEco Le 2. Earlier the smartphone was available only in Rose Gold color on Flipkart for Rs. 11,999 and the good news is that the Grey color variant will also be available for the same price. According to latest update at the time of developing this story, the Le 2 Grey color listing page on Flipkart states ‘coming soon’ and is yet to be available for buyers.
The introduction of the new color variant for Le 2 is a good move and it opens up more and more variety for consumers to choose from. It is possible that the Chinese device maker will introduce more color for both its popular brands of Smartphone.
LeEco Le 2 Grey Specifications
The Le 2 was launched in April 2016 but the Pro version has not yet launched in India. The device was launched as a successor to the highly successful Le 1s launch in India. Both the Le2 and Le Max2 was instantly lapped up by the Indian masses and in a month more than 61000 units of both the brands were sold. A major contributor to the sales was flash sales on LeMall.com and Flipkart. The total registration of the phones reached over 6 lakh units.
The Le 2 boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD LCD display which is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz. The device features a 3GB RAM and a 32 GB internal memory with no provisions for expansion. The device is based on the Android Marsh Mallow OS platform, and the power source is a 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery which supports USB Type-C with Quick Charge 2.0.
The Le 2 also features the content integration with in-house Live TV streams from Yupp TV and so also the in-house Levidi app, which is a clone of YouTube videos.
