Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini is all set to launch its Huracan Avio supercar in India on September 22nd. The Huracan Avio is manufactured at the company’s plant in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.

The model pays homage to the Royal Air Force and is limited to just 250 units across the globe. Hence, it’ll be interesting to see how many Lamborghini Huracan Avio units will arrive in India. Besides, it also marks the second supercar to make its entry in India this year.

The limited edition Lamborghini Huracan Avio will be available in five exterior color options with racing stripes in white or grey that run from bonnet to the roof. It will also feature ‘L63’ decals on either side, which signifies the Italian car manufacturer’s year of inception i.e 1963. In addition, interiors receive top-notch black leather and Alcantara along with the L63 badging on the seats.

The Lamborghini Huracan Avio is based on the Huracan LP-610-4, and gets the same V10 engine that belts 610 PS of peak power and 560 Nm of torque. While powering the drivetrain is a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The car zips from 0-100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 325 kmph. Other highlights of the limited edition supercar include Pirelli P-Zero tyres and 20-inch GIANO cast wheels.

Though exact pricing details have yet not been announced, one can safely assume the limited edition supercar to carry an enormous price tag. Some reports speculate it could be priced over Rs. 4 crore, taking into consideration that the most affordable Huracan LP580-2 retails at Rs.3 crores in the country. Huracan LP610-4 Avio will be on sale at company’s authorized dealerships along with the Huracan LP610-4 and LP580-2 coupe.

While back in February, Italian automobile giant Ferrari launched its 458 Italia successor in India called the Ferrari 488 GTB. The 488 was priced at Rs. 3.88 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available to purchase via Ferrari dealerships across the country.
