Jaguar F-Pace performance SUV finally launches in India starting at Rs. 68.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The all-new Jaguar F-Pace is the company’s first ever performance SUV and is available in the following diesel engines, and trims – the base 2.0 litre Pure variant is priced at Rs 68.40 lakh, the 2.0-litre Prestige variant is priced at Rs. 74.50 lakh, a 3.0-litre R-Sport variant priced at Rs. 1.02 crore and a 3.0-litre First edition variant priced at Rs. 1.12 crore.

“We have received an overwhelming response for the car worldwide and we expect the same in India as well. It is indeed one of the most awaited products in the Indian market. The launch of F-PACE ushers Jaguar into the SUV market; a smooth ride that will mark the dawn of a new era for Jaguar in India,” said Rohit Suri, President, Jaguar Land Rover India (JLRIL)

Jaguar F-Pace Design

The SUV’s design is largely inspired by the F-Type featuring angular lines and Jaguar’s signature ‘J’ shaped Daytime Running Lights. Besides, the Jaguar F-Pace is based on the company’s new Lightweight Aluminum Architecture, which makes it robust and at the same is much lighter. At the rear, it features sleek full LED tail lights strikingly similar to F-Type’s design language.  

Jaguar F-Pace Specs

The SUV comes in two diesel engine options. The 2.0-litre Ingenium engine found on the Pure and Prestige variant produces 180bhp of power and 430Nm of torque. The company claims it can reach 0-100 kmph in 8.7 seconds can reach a top speed of over 200 kmph.

While the 3.0-litre V6 Diesel Ingenium engine found on the R-Sport and First Edition variant pumps out 300 bhp of power and 700Nm of torque. This one zips from 0-100 kmph in just 6.2 seconds and reaches top speeds of 241 kmph. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission while AWD comes as standard across all variants.

Jaguar F-Pace Features

The Jaguar F-Pace also comes loaded with a wide array of features such as LED headlamps, daytime running LEDs, a 12.3-inch digital infotainment system, 360-degree view sunroof, interior mood lighting with a choice of 10 different colours, a 10.2-inch InControl Touch Pro Navigation infotainment system along with a 380W Meridian Sound System. However, the features mentioned above may vary across different trim levels. The base Pure trim, for instance, gets 18-inch alloy wheels, the R-Sport variant gets 19-inch alloys, while the limited-run gets 20-inch alloy wheels.
