iPhone 7s Red (iPhone 2017) to feature A11 processor, confirms reports

iPhone 7s red

Ever since Apple unveiled iPhone 7, the rumor mills started to break speculations about iPhone 8. According to information leaked by an unnamed parts supplier in Taiwan, Apple is scheduled to release iPhone 7s in 2017. Moreover, the iPhone 7s handset will be equipped with Apple A11 processor in red color variant.

If the rumor turns out to be true, there will be no iPhone 8. Previously, it was widely speculated that the Cupertino-based tech giant will launch iPhone 2017 as version 8. This is because the company had plans to celebrate the 10th anniversary of iPhone in 2017.

iPhone 7s with OLED display not a possibility

Based on the latest available information, we don’t have any clarity on the release of a curved OLED display. Previously, it was rumored that Apple will launch both conventional IPS LED and OLED models of iPhone 2017. If Apple decides to go with iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus branding, then you need not have to expect an enhanced design and addition of wireless charging.

iPhone 7s will have same design as iPhone 7

According to reports, the iPhone 7s will feature the same design as the recently launched iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Talking about the internals, the iPhone 7s will most likely integrate Apple A11 processor. The upcoming chipset is expected to offer improved features and reduced heating than the A10.

On the software side, you can expect the addition of iOS 11 in iPhone 7s. The forthcoming software update will have enhanced features than the recently released iOS 10.

To add more charm to color lovers, Apple is expected to introduce a new red variant in addition to rose gold, gold, silver, matte black, and Jet Black tone. The recent leakage of iPhone 2017 related data is too different from the previous reports. Hence, there is a slight amount of originality associated with the leaks. However, you should only taste these new leaks with a pinch of salt because there is no official confirmation.
