Google India invites to witness a revolution in the rural landscape

Google India in partnership with Tata Trusts has sent out invites to a press conference taking place on June 03 in Mumbai.

The invite email claims Google India’s partnership with Tata Trusts that aims at empowering the women of rural India.

Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, will also be present at tomorrow’s press conference in Mumbai.

The press conference will also be graced by Mr. Rajan Anandan, Vice President / Managing Director of Google South East Asia / India and Mr. R. Venkataramanan, Executive Trustee at Tata Trusts.

With the launch of this unique initiative, Google India and Tata Trusts will together help empower the women and their rural communities in this country to unleash the possibilities of the Internet.

With the aim of guaranteeing a viable future for the women community, the joint efforts by these two organizations will help embrace a few corporate and social responsibilities.
