Asus ZenWatch 2 now available in India starting Rs. 11,999

Asus ZenWatch 2 is launched in India and available exclusively on Flipkart starting Rs. 11,999 for Taupe coloured 1.63-inch display. The watch is also available in 1.45-inch display size at Rs 14,999 in Khaki color. The 1.63-inch watch is available in navy blue color at a higher price.

Powered by Android Wear, Asus ZenWatch 2 includes a 1.63-inch AMOLED touch display with a 320×320 resolution.

This model has a pixel density of 278ppi protected by 2.5D Curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The 1.45-inch variant also consists of same features except it has 280×280 display resolution with a pixel density of 273ppi.

Asus has integrated ZenUI, which offers a broad range of features such as muting a call by simply covering the device with your hand. It is also possible to keep track of the steps and the subsequent calories burnt.

One can easily locate smartphone using Find My Phone feature included with ZenWatch 2. The Forgot Phone warning enables you to make sure not to leave the phone while going for work. One can easily modify settings such as brightness by swiping down on the watch face.

Asus ZenWatch 2 features Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage, pedometer, IP67, changeable straps, activity tracker, 6 Axis Accelerometer and Gyroscope in addition to the 400-mAh battery.

Asus has bundled 50 professional watch faces using which you can modify the look and feel of the watch. The watch is designed using rubber strap for long life. The built-in crown button enables you to interact with the watch easily.

Asus ZenWatch 2 is compatible with both iOS and Android. The product package includes the device, a stainless steel case and USB cable.

Recently, Motorola made available Moto 360 (2nd Gen) smartwatch on Amazon, which might play a role of a competitor for Asus ZenWatch 2.
