After receiving an overwhelming response and positive feedbacks on Zenfone 2 Laser 5 and Laser 5.5, ASUS has announced to expand its Zenfone 2 lineup with the launch of a new smartphone, ASUS Zenfone2 Laser 6. Priced at Rs. 17,999, the smartphone will be available to buy on Flipkart, Amazon India and Snapdeal from midnight.
The ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser 6 ZE601KL is equipped with a 6.0-inch Full HD Retina display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Also, there’s a 20nm Oleophobic Anti-fingerprint coating on the top of the display and supports Glover touch.
Powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8939 Octa-core processor paired with 3GB LPDDR3 RAM, the Zenfone 2 Laser 6 offers 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. The company is also offering free 5GB of ASUS Web storage for lifetime and 100GB of Google Drive space for two years.
The smartphone sports a 13MP PixelMaster camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5-element autofocus lens, Laser Autofocus and dual LED Real Tone flash support. Also, there is a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies.
Out-of-the-box, the ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser 6 runs on ASUS ZenUI 2.0, which company claims consists of 1000+ software enhancements.
Connectivity-wise, the dual-SIM smartphone comes with 4G LTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 + EDR + A2DP, GPS/GLONASS, A-GPS, Micro USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm headset jack port. A 3,000 mAh battery powers the phone.

The ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser 6 is available in three color variants – Glamour Red, Silver and Sheer Gold. The handset will also be available on office stores from the second week of December.
