Xiaomi’s subsidiary brand Huami has launched two smartwatches in the Indian market, the Amazfit BIP and the Stratos. Priced at Rs 5,499 and Rs 15,999 respectively, both smartwatches will be available exclusively on Flipkart.
The Huami Amazfit BIP gets a 1.28-inch always-on colour display having a resolution of 176×176 pixels. The screen also gets a protective layering of 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is compatible with both iOS and Android devices and can be paired using the Mi Fit 3.0 app. The smartwatch gets a plethora of sensors which include 3-axis acceleration sensor, barometer, electronic compass, GPS, optical (PPG) heart rate sensor, and geomagnetic sensor.
The Amazfit Bip also comes with IP68 dust and water resistance rating. Juicing up the smartwatch is a 190mAh battery which is claimed to last up to 4 months on a single full charge when used in basic Watch mode. The smartwatch is offered in Cinnabar Red, Kokoda Green, Onyx Black, and White Cloud colour options.
The Huami Amazfit Stratos, on the other hand, gets a 1.34-inch Always On display with a resolurion of 320×320 pixels. Additionally, the screen gets 2.5D Curved Glass and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, it gets powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz proccessor paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetoth, GPS, and GLONASS. Sensors onboard include air pressure sensor, ambient light sensor, barometer, geomagnetic sensor, an optical (PPG) heart rate sensor, gyroscope, and a tri-axis accelerometer.
Juicing up the Stratos is a 290mAh battery which is claimed to offer 5 days of regular usage. The Startos is also compatible with both iOS and Android devices and can be paired with the MiFit 3.0 app. It’s claimed to have a water ressistance of upto 50 meters and is only offered in a Black colour option.
