Alcatel Plus 10 Windows 10-powered tablet is announced and expected to be available by June 2016 in multiple color variants. Showcased at the recent Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016, Alcatel Plus 10 has a detachable keyboard and LTE hotspot with a capability to connect up to 15 devices at a time.
To provide an enhanced backup, Alcatel has integrated 5830mAh in the tablet and 2580mAh in the keyboard, making Plus 10 the first device in the market to introduce split batteries in the convertibles product range.
In fact, we have never seen either a tablet or a laptop with a battery structure like in Alcatel Plus 10. That being said, the weight of the keyboard is expected to be on a higher side compared to those keyboard without a battery.
With a 10.1-inch HD display, Alcatel Plus 10 flaunts a quad-core Intel Atom x5 Z8350 1.92GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card).
Even though Alcatel Plus 10 is considered as a productivity hub for travelers, the company has integrated a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera, which helps you to perform video calls.
Coming to sound segment, Alcatel Plus 10 features stereo speakers on the front that generates significant audio output, unlike other similar tablets which produce less sound. Moreover, Alcatel Plus 10 equips a full-size USB port, microUSB, and a microHDMI port in addition to standard connectivity features such as Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.
Alcatel Plus 10 is expected to be available in June in Europe, Latin America, The Middle East and Africa regions in a wide range of color options that includes a Grey leather silky finish. However, Alcatel has not confirmed the expected availability of Alcatel Plus 10 in India.
