Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G goes on sale this weekend without registration

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G goes on sale beginning December 30

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4G has become a tough piece of technology to get a hold of. But if you’re one of the many people who have been struggling to buy one of these, there is good news for you. The company said that starting today (January 24), the phablet will be available for purchase without any pre-order or registration.

Xioami Redmi Note 4G is an affordable and high configuration phablet. It sports 5.5-inch IPS HD display with 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC under the hood.  The phablet has 4G LTE connectivity. It has a 13 MP rear shooter and a 5 MP front-facing camera. The whole unit is powered by a battery that can hold 3100 mAh capacity, and it runs on MIUI V5 that is based on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Until now, the device went on ‘flash sales’ only which required that customers pre-order the device via registration. Thanks to Republic Day, Xiaomi is taking advantage of the occasion and making the device available starting January 24 through January 26.

The Chinese company said that the device will be made available exclusively on Flipkart if you want to get it online. Xiaomi will also be selling the device at Airtel stores in select locations across India. The cities, where Xiaomi Note 4G will go on direct flash sale this week, include Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata.

Xiaomi hasn’t specified exactly how many devices are up for sale during the three-day long Mi Day program. Nevertheless, given that most of the company’s flash sales are over in matter of seconds, and this time they have a three-day period to sell the device, it’s a safe bet the inventory is large enough to meet the demand.
