Xiaomi Mi Note 2 with curved OLED display launched: Features, specifications and price

Xiaomi has launched the much-anticipated Xiaomi Mi Note 2 with a 5.7-inch curved OLED display in Piano Black and Glacier Silver color variants starting at RMB 2799.

The big attraction of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is the integration of a curved OLED display and the addition of 3D curved glass in the rear and front side of the handset. Moreover, the company revealed that the newly launched Mi Note 2 is designed using double the curves.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a 22.56MP (5488 x 4112) super high-res camera coupled with an 8MP autofocus front shooter with Beautify 3.0. Moreover, the Mi Note 2 offers hardware-level Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) for steady 4K video shooting.

According to Xiaomi, the Mi Note 2 is the first handset to ship with 37 global bands in addition to 22 LTE bands. Coming to the design, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 offers two-sided dual curves with 3D curved glass in both front and rear. Moreover, the handset is equipped with 7-series aluminum frame.

The addition of UFS 2.0 storage is a big bonus since it will enhance the read and write speed.

The rear camera offers a 22.56MP Sony IMX318 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 77-degree wide-angle lens. The phone ships with an 8MP front-facing snapper with support for autofocus and Beautify 3.0. The rear camera features Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) hardware-level 4K video stabilization, which enables you to capture images in any environment.

Powered by a 4070mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 offers support for NFC, GPS including HD audio quality.

Xiaomi has announced three models of Xiaomi Mi Note 2. The 4GB/64GB model is available at RMB 2799. If you would like to buy 6GB/128GB variant, you need to shell out RMB 3299. If you prefer a premium phone with 6GB RAM/128GB storage, you have to pay RMB 3499.
