Samsung Galaxy TabPro S: Specifications, Features and Release Date in India

Samsung Galaxy TabPro S

Initially announced at CES 2016, Samsung Galaxy TabPro S is expected to be launched in India before the end of April 2016. Showcasing the tablet at the Samsung Forum 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, an official spokesperson revealed that the device comes with 128GB SSD internal storage, 4G LTE connectivity and Windows 10 Home.

Equipped with a 12-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 and 216ppi, Samsung Galaxy TabPro S features Intel Core m3 CPU, 4GB of RAM in addition to 5MP primary and front-facing cameras.

Powered by a 5200mAh battery, Galaxy TabPro S includes all major connectivity features including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC and USB Type C.

Reportedly, the 12-inch display looks vibrant and sharp even though its pixel density is less than what is offered by Apple iPad Pro.

Talking about the processor, Samsung Galaxy TabPro S comes with a fanless Intel Core m3 CPU clocked at 2.2GHz paired with 4GB of RAM, which is sufficient for most of the basic functionalities.

With bundled external keyboard with a gesture touchpad that can be docked with a magnetic connector, Samsung Galaxy TabPro S has gone one step ahead than Microsoft. In the case of Surface Pro 4, you need to purchase an external keyboard for an additional Rs. 12999, which is significantly higher.

Unlike Microsoft Surface Pro 4, Windows 10-powered (Home Edition) Samsung Galaxy TabPro S doesn’t support Windows Hello due to the absence of Intel Real Sense camera. However, it provides support for Cortana that lets users perform specifics action via voice.

Capable of providing 10 hours of battery life, the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S comes with fast charging technology via USB Type-C and will be able to charge the tablet in less than 3 hours fully.
