Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge price revealed ahead of MWC 2016

Samsung Galaxy S7 features and release date rumors

Samsung (NASDAQ: SSNLF) has stirred fans around the world with a leak of the prices of the phones ahead of their official release. Samsung Galaxy S7 is set to put you back roughly 540 GBP (INR 53,181), and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will cost you around 620 GBP (INR 61,060).

These prices have been cited by a reliable Samsung Source, SamMobile. The phones will be available in 32GB and 64GB variants; the latter would cost you around 80 GBP (INR 7,880) above the stated prices.

Another reliable source Evan Bass (@evleaks) stated that the phone would be available to pre-order immediately after the release of the 21st of February right before the MWC 2016.

Samsung is set to have a separate press conference for the release of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge a day before MWC 2016 begins. What’s more interesting is that Samsung is offering a free GEAR-VR powered by Oculus, which is compatible with all Galaxy flagship phones.

Information is turning up all over the internet for the past few weeks since January when Samsung officially announced the release of the Galaxy 7.

From confirming the release of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge at MWC 2016 to the battery performance, bits of information have been pieced together until last week when pictures of the devices were released in three colours: Silver, Black and Gold.

With less than one week to go and the prices having been made public, all that’s left is to wait for the phones to go on sale so you can pre-order them for yourself.

One thing to remember though is that the free GEAR VR is offered free for a limited period until around the 10th of March.
