Samsung is scheduled to release Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro alongside Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in New Delhi on August 11. The company has sent out media invites for the launch of so-called “The Next Galaxy” event. However, along with the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung is also expected to introduce the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro and Galaxy Z2 smartphone based on Tizen OS. If rumors are to be believed, the Galaxy A9 Pro will feature a 6-inch SAMOLED display, Snapdragon 652 processor, Adreno 510 graphics, 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device will also offer a massive 5000mAh battery with fast charging support alongside a 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front-facing shooter.

Touted to be the successor to the Z1, Samsung Galaxy Z2 features a 4-inch AMOLED display, a 32-bit quad-core processor, 1GB RAM. However, we don’t have any information about the camera specifications. Since the device will ship with a 4-inch display, you can expect trimmed camera specifications such as 5MP rear camera and 2MP front-facing snapper.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Main Attraction

The main attraction of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is the addition of Iris scanner, which enables you to automatically unlock the device with eyes. Moreover, the handset also offers an enhanced S Pen using which you can make notes directly on the display of the device. The device also offers fingerprint sensor including other standard connectivity features and sensors.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro Pricing

There is no information about the price of the Galaxy A9 Pro but the upcoming Z2 will carry a price tag of Rs. 4499 (US$67).

Even though we don’t know the actual pricing of the Galaxy Note 7 in India, we expect the cost of the phablet to be around Rs. 58000 ($849.99). Samsung is providing free Gear Fit2 or 256GB memory card for all pre-orders in the US along with the device. In all probability, Samsung will also provide some kind of freebies for all pre-orders.

Samsung has already revealed that shipments will start from August 19 globally. Hence, if Samsung launches the Galaxy Note 7 on August 11, the device will be available for pre-order on the same day.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has become the most pre-ordered device in South Korea with more than 2,00,000 handsets in just 2 days. It remains to be seen as to how the budget mindset customers respond to the new device in India.
