Samsung Galaxy A3, A7 and A5 (2017) confirmed, launch reportedly next year

Reports of a new version of the Samsung Galaxy A5 has made its way through various benchmarking utilities including Geekbench. As has been seen for the past few years running now, new Galaxy A5 is accustomed to being chaperoned by the Galaxy A3 and A7. Though we naturally assumed the leaked A5 was only one of the three devices, SamMobile has confirmed the existence of the other two smartphones.

According to their new report, the model numbers of the Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 are going to be SM-A320F, SM-A520F, and SM-A720F respectively. As has been recently learned, the new Galaxy A5 has not got a processor upgrade, as is traditional, more RAM and a slightly upgraded battery, along with an increase in storage. While it is not known yet, as to how the specs will get better for the other two phones, it is safe to assume that a similar change is supposed to be on.

Samsung is known to conjure up a lot of flagship-level handsets, and the company has been extremely offensive in the constantly saturated bit of the market. The Galaxy A series amalgamates style and low cost with enough power for a large sample of users and looks like it is set to do the same for the third time running.

There’s no word on when the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 or Galaxy A7 (2017) are actually going to hit the market. The 2016 models, however, rolled out right after the offset of the new year, last time, though announcements had already begun in December of 2015. If Samsung intends to stick with its traditional one-year life cycle, this new trio announcement should be right around the corner.

Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 Specs

According to the results of the benchmark, the 2017 Galaxy A5 is going to come with more RAM compared to the current model, moving from 2GB to 3 GB. Besides, it’s going to house Samsung’s homemade octa-core Exynos 7880 paired with a Mali-T830 GPU, taking it up a notch from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 with a score of 814 on the single-core test and 4,396 on the multi-core test.

On the internal memory front, it is said to offer 32GB and on the camera 16MP, both primary and secondary. The display is supposed to be 5.2-inches super-AMOLED. The battery was mentioned at 2,900mAh. These specs are being revealed far from launch; therefore it is likely that a few change on the way.
