Reliance Jio launches Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus with 70% buyback offer

Apple finally launched the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in the Indian market today. The smartphones were unveiled by Reliance Jio in association with Apple at an event in Mumbai. Moreover, the iPhone 8 duos will come available across 900 cities in India from more than 2000 Reliance Digital outlets. The handsets will also be available on country’s leading online retailers like Amazon and Flipkart.

 

Jio also introduced a new plan of Rs. 799 for iPhone 8 buyers. Under this scheme, the postpaid users will be benefited by 90 GB of data/month with free voice call and SMS. Whereas, for the prepaid user’s; the Rs. 799 plan which offers the users the same benefit as of postpaid customers but with 28 days of validity.

Moreover, Jio was also providing 70% buyback on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Under this plan, a consumer who opt Rs. 799 or higher tariff plan would be eligible for 70% of the MRP as buyback amount on the return of the smartphone after a year. Customers will also get Rs. 10,000 additional cashback on Citi credit and world debit cards today.

Coming to the specifications, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are packed with 4.7 and 5.5 inches Full HD IPS Retina display. Both the handset is powered by a Hexa Core; Apple A11 Bionic Processor paired with three-core graphics Apple GPU. The iPhone 8 is featured with 2GB RAM, while the iPhone 8 plus is enriched by 3GB RAM.

Regarding optics, Apple iPhone 8 rocks with a 12MP lens which comes with autofocus. Whereas, iPhone 8 Plus is packed with dual 12MP optics. Moreover, up front, both the smartphone is packed with the 7MP camera module.
