OnePlus Online Store India

Until now, all OnePlus products and accessories have been Amazon India exclusives. However, that’s about to change this festive season as the company has finally launched its own Indian e-commerce portal – oneplusstore.in, where users can purchase the company’s products, accessories and merchandise.

The e-commerce portal is specially created for the Indian market, which says “Hello India! You asked, we listened. The official OnePlus Store for India is here.”

On visiting the OnePlus online store, users can buy accessories like Tempered Glass Protector, Protective Cases, Flip cases. Besides, users can also buy accessories like Type-C cable, Dash Power adapter for the OnePlus 3. In addition, the store also includes accessories for the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X which include cases, chargers and other related accessories. Moreover, users can also buy exclusive OnePlus merchandise such as lifestyle products and clothing.

“Having our own e-commerce platform will make the purchase experience for consumers and fans even better, and ensure that consumer gets a genuine product. Shipping phones online is a complicated process and right now demand is outstripping supply, especially during the festive season, so we will sell through Amazon for some foreseeable future,” said Vikas Agarwal, general manager, OnePlus India.

Interested users can head over to oneplusstore.in/store to check out the what the store has on offer and buy accessories.

OnePlus now joins the likes of its Chinese competitors Xiaomi, LeEco and Lenovo with the launch of its online store, who are also offering exclusive deals and discounts this festive season. Xiaomi, for instance, has scheduled a festive season sale on its e-commerce portal that kicks-off on October 17.

OnePlus is also prepping the launch of its first of a kind experience store in India. The company’s first global experience store will be opened in Bengaluru, which is said to be spread across an area of over 14,000 sq.ft and will have all the latest smartphones and accessories from the company.

In other related news, OnePlus recently posted a tweet which suggests that its OnePlus 3 flagship might soon get a hardware refresh with a Snapdragon 821 processor and a 6-inch screen. However, it is said to feature an IPS LCD as opposed to the AMOLED screen found on current OnePlus 3 units. Reports suggest that the company is having issues sourcing AMOLED display panels. Hence it’ll halt production of the OnePlus 3 for a short period of time and release another OnePlus 3 variant with an IPS LCD screen to make up for this shortage.
