Motorola Moto X Style to debut in India later this month

Motorola has confirmed the arrival of its mid-range flagship Moto X Style smartphone in India. Despite tweeting a very few lines of confirmation, the company is yet to announce the official price and launch date of Moto X Style in India.

Moto X Style was initially introduced last month in the US and carried a price tag of $399 (Unlocked Version) for the 16GB variant.

The Motorola Moto X Style sports a 5.7″ Quad HD capacitive touchscreen display with screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels at 520 PPI pixel density. The display of the smartphone is further protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box, Moto X Style is powered by Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 CPU (Dual-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A57 & Quad-core 1.44GHz Cortex-A53) paired with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 418 GPU.

On the camera front, Moto X style has a 21-megapixel phase detection autofocus camera with dual tone flash as well as a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash. The camera supports 4K video recording capabilities.

Moto X Style will come in three storage options — 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The storage is expandable up to 128GB via microSD. The device comes equipped with a non-removable 3,000mAh battery.

The smartphone features a front facing Stereo speakers with Smartboost. It also comes with water repellant nano-coating (IP52 certified).

Connectivity-wise, the Moto X Style comes with 4G LTE cat. 6 support, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/b/n/ac + MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, NFC, GPS, Micro USB and a 3.5mm headset jack port.

The Motorola Moto X Style will support the Moto Maker program letting users customise the smartphone according to their preferences. Users can choose between leather and natural wood back covers.

At the moment, there is no official word from the company regarding the release date and pricing of Moto X Style in India.
