Motorola has launched Moto X Play edition in India. The smartphone, like all other Motorola’s smartphone, is also exclusively sold on Flipkart only.
This smartphone is a mid-range device priced at Rs. 18,499 for 16GB and Rs. 19,999 for 32GB variant. It has features like water-repellent coating and all-day battery life offering almost 30 hours of backup with 3,630 mAH battery. It is a Dual Nano-SIM phone weighing only 169 grams.
Moto X Play boasts a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It is powered by Qualcomm’s 1.7GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core CPU that has Natural Language Processor and Contextual Computing Processor.
It is equipped with 2GB RAM and has the option for microSD card slot for further expansion to 16GB and 32GB internal storage.
The highlight of the device is its 21-megapixel rear camera having f /2.0 aperture with dual flash and 1080p HD video recording that captures your beautiful moments for your lifetime remembrance. The front camera is 5MP giving you an exclusive selfie time.

The connectivity features of this smartphone include Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi – 802.11a/g/b/n, NFC, Micro USB and 3.5mm headset jack. Like other Moto Devices, this smartphone also runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.
The dimensions of the smartphone are 148x75mm with Curve of 8.9 to 10.9 mm. Moto X Play is currently available in two color combinations in India, i.e. Black with Black Back cover and White with Winter White Back shell.
We are hearing words over bringing the Moto Maker in India from last couple of months but it’s yet to launch for Indian users.
