Microsoft Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition Pre-Order starts Today At $499

The American Multinational Microsoft Corporation has called up the pre-orders for its much-awaited Xbox One X from today. Today, in an official statement during the Gamescom press conference in Germany, Microsoft has unveiled its next-gen gaming console for the international market. With the price tag of $499, the Xbox One X is available for advanced booking on Microsoft’s own online retail site along with other e-com partners like Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, and Target.

Introduced back in June this year, the Xbox One X with its limited version – Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition has officially marked its commercial debut in the market today, and interested buyers can book their editions from today on both the online and offline retail channels. As officially confirmed by Microsoft itself, the retailing and shipping of the Xbox One X will be starting from 7th November onwards. Moreover, the limited version of the Xbox One X Project Scorpio edition has already sold out on the store of Amazon US.

What’s special about the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition is its cosmetic revamp over the original module of Xbox One. With the limited edition, you can get an accent design on the console. Likewise, the code name Project Scorpio code will be found imprinted on both the controller and console. The retail box pack of the gaming console includes a giant X mark on the box. Moreover, the system of the gaming console is also reported to be shipped with a vertical stand.  However, apart from this cosmetic modernizations and improvements, the limited edition hasn’t gotten anymore changes and improvements. Internally, the Project Scorpio is akin to the internal module of a regular Xbox One X, but visually, it will be a more revived one.

In terms of specs and features, the Xbox One X console will be shipped with an 8-core AMD CPU clocked at 2.3 GHz, a 6 TFLOPS rated GPU, 12 GB of GDDR5 RAM, a 1 TB HDD, and first real 4K resolution. At 6 TFLOPS, the Xbox One X will be a better performance over the regular Xbox One.
