
Micromax announced the availability of two of their newest smartphones last week, the Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro. Both handsets will retail for a price of Rs. 13,999, with only the Canvas 6 Pro available to pre-order. There has been no word on the release date of the Canvas 6 so far.
Deliveries for pre-ordered phones will commence on the 20th of April and should reach customers within the same week. Micromax offers the Canvas 6 Pro on pre-order through their official store at a booking price of Rs. 1,000.
The Micromax Canvas 6 Pro is fashioned out of a plastic uni-body and has a rubberized texture at the rear for enhanced grip. Its counterpart, the Canvas 6, on the other hand, is made out of a metal-uni-body. The phone comes along with a 5.5-inch Full-HD display screen, runs on an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 chipset that clocks at 2.0GHz. The device is supported by a 4GB RAM and offers 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 64GB with the help of a micro-SD card.
The back of the Canvas 6 Pro sports a 13MP camera with an LED flash as well as predictive auto-focus. The front has a 5MP lens that helps take selfies. You will have support for 4G networks as well as dual-SIM capabilities along with other connectivity options such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
