Lenovo has launched Yoga Book with Halo keyboard and Windows 10 Pro at Rs. 49,990. Touted as a productivity tablet, the new Yoga Book is primarily a 2-in-1 convertible and will be available exclusively on Flipkart. To recall, the Lenovo Yoga Book was first launched at IFA 2016 in both Android and Windows editions.
The main highlight of Lenovo Yoga Book is the addition of a Halo keyboard with the backlit virtual keyboard. The tablet also ships with a real pen accessory. According to Lenovo, the performance of the new Halo keyboard can be compared with the conventional keyboards including that of Microsoft Surface.
During the launch event, the company disclosed that the performance of the keyboard will improve within few hours of usage since it needs to adapt to user’s preferences and conditions.

Commenting on the launch, Lenovo added that the absence of physical keys enables the flush surface of Halo keyboard to accommodate the Create Pad. The pad helps you to draw digital stuff such as doodles, to-do lists including annotations and on-screen notes. The newly released tablet also ships with a real pen stylus accessory with 2048 pressure levels for the purpose of note taking.

Lenovo Yoga Book offers 4G LTE support
While the rear side will offer an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus support, the front-facing snapper provides a 2MP camera with fixed-focus technology. In addition to 4G LTE, the hybrid convertible tablet will also provide support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. A powerful 8500mAh battery completes the package.
Lenovo Yoga Book also integrates Dolby Atmos speakers to provide you with an enhanced sound experience. Meanwhile, the real pen accessory will have the capability to draw on the halo keyboard. Even though the stylus is more or less similar to that of Surface pen, it will have more improved features.
Even though Android version was also launched in the US, the company is bringing only Windows 10 version to Indian shores. The fixed price of Rs. 49990 is a bit higher for a 10.1-inch convertible tablet. Moreover, you will find it bit difficult to carry the tablet due to weight. Moreover, due to light reflections, you will find it difficult to work behind lights since its reflection will fall on the display.
