Lenovo, the largest PC manufacturer in the planet, has brought their YOGA 710 flagship convertible laptop to India. The high-end laptop is powered by a 6th Generation Core i7 processor from Intel. The main attraction of the two-in-one laptop is the unique wireless YOGA mouse. The mouse can function as a remote control in times of any presentation. The 14-inch variant of the convertible is launched in India featuring a price tag of around Rs. 85,490.
Lenovo YOGA 710 Specs
As with all laptops in the YOGA series, the 710 is also made with portability as the priority. Lenovo has made the laptop as thin and light as possible without compromising the performance. The network antenna of the YOGA 710 is integrated innovatively into the hinges of the convertible. The company claims that the placement will result in 20 percent better Wi-Fi reception than competitors.
The brand new laptop is powered by the latest Intel 6th Generation Core i7 6500U processor for ultimate performance. The processor has two core with four threads each clocked at 2.5 GHz each which can go up to 3.1 GHz. The processor manufactured using the latest 14 nm process comes with 4 MB of SmartCache.
A NVIDIA GeForce 940 MX (N16S-GTR) graphics card is present in the Indian variant. With 2 GB DDR3L dedicated graphics memory, the device can do wonders in graphics intensive works like playing high definition games and processing multimedia with rich visuals.
The Lenovo YOGA 710 comes with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz frequency. There is a 256 GB Solid State Drive (SSD) attached to a PCI slot for optimum speed. The laptop runs Windows 10 Home right out of the box.
The 14-inch display of the YOGA 710 comes with Full HD 1080p resolution and 300 nits brightness. This is an IPS screen with multi-touch support. The laptop has an HD 720p webcam. There is a dual band 5 GHz 802.11ac WiFi and version 4.1 Bluetooth, two USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI and DisplayPort combo, Audio jack and a multi-card reader (4-in-1).
The laptop has a battery of 52WHr capacity and promises 8 hours of Full HD 1080p video playback at 150 nits brightness. The weight of the YOGA 710 is around 1.55 Kilograms. The convertible features JBL made speakers with Dolby Audio certification for outstanding sound output.
The unique YOGA mouse comes in a very sleek construction. It can connect both through Bluetooth version 4.0 and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for ultimate compatibility. The mouse also houses an interactive touch screen for remotely controlling presentations and multimedia. A non-removable rechargeable battery juices up the gizmo.
