LeEco has launched the much-anticipated LeEco Le Pro 3 smartphone with 6GB RAM and Snapdragon 821 processor in China starting at 1799 Yuan. Touted to be the successor to Le 2 Pro, the smartphone was under rumor mills ever since the Chinese company launched Le 2 and Le Max 2. Moreover, the smartphone has been constantly spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform.
With the release of Le Pro 3, LeEco has made a special mark with Snapdragon 821 processor. However, this is not the first Snapdragon 821 powered handset from LeEco. Previously, the company launched Le Max 2 Pro with the same processor.
LeEco Le Pro 3 specifications
On the specifications front, the LeEco Le Pro 3 features a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display. The display carries a brightness of 500 nits and 80 percent NTSC color gamut. The phone comes in two storage models. The 4GB RAM variant is equipped with 32GB or 64GB storage. However, the 6GB model accompanies 64GB or 128GB storage.
On the imaging front, LeEco plugin 16MP rear camera sensor paired with 8MP front-facing camera. This is similar to that of the camera specifications of Le 2. Moreover, the rear camera features a 6P lens, f/2.0 aperture with support for 4K video recording.
The newly launched LeEco Le Pro 3 is equipped with the same design as Le 2 and Le Max 2. You will find a fingerprint sensor below the camera module. The body is designed using full metal.
LeEco Le Pro 3 ditches headphone port
Like Le 2, Le Max 2, Le Pro 3 also eliminates the traditional 3.5mm audio jack to accommodate a USB Type-C based CDLA technology. The phone is loaded with EUI 5.9 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. With a battery capacity of 4070mAh, the nano-SIM card based Le Pro 3 provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, WiFi direct and NFC.
LeEco Le Pro 3 Price
LeEco Le Pro 3 is priced at 1799 Yuan for the 4GB RAM variant with 32GB storage. The premium 6GB RAM paired with 64GB storage is priced at Yuan 1999. While the 4GB/64GB variant is priced at Yuan 2499, the model with 6GB/128GB storage is available at 2999 Yuan.
