Huawei has launched Huawei Mate 9 Pro with dual Leica rear camera starting at 4699 Yuan. The recent launch of Mate 9 Pro is the third smartphone in the series, which is exclusive to customers based in China.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a 5.5-inch AMOLED Quad HD curved display, Kirin 960 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage. If you look at the Mate 9 and Mate 9 Porsche Design, the phone features the same Kirin 960 chipset. Moreover, the display bears a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features dual rear camera
The main attraction of Huawei Mate 9 Pro is the integration of the second generation dual Leica rear camera setup. The phone features the same 20MP rear camera alongside another 12MP sensor. While the 12MP sensor offers support for RGB, the 20MP sensor is equipped with a monochrome sensor. This will enable you to capture high-contrast black and white images.
Some of the other camera-centric features included with Huawei Mate 9 Pro are 2x zoom, laser autofocus, OIS and dual LED flash. Talking about the front-facing snapper, it offers 8MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture. Hence, you will be able to capture accurate selfies.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro offers 4000mAh fast charging battery
If you look at the fingerprint sensor, it is embedded into the physical home button. This is similar to that of the Porsche Design Mate 9. The phone is equipped with a 4000mAh battery with SuperCharge fast charging technology. The handset is loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat on top of EMUI 5.0.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro starts at 4699 Yuan for the 4GB/64GB model, which equates to Rs. 46999. You will need to invest 5299 yuan for the 6GB/128GB model. The company hasn’t announced the price of 6GB/256GB model.
The phone is available in Space Gray, Moonlight Silver, Champagne Gold, Mocha Brown, Ceramic White, and Black variants. We don’t have any information about the global roll out of the phone.
Recently, Huawei launched Mate 9 and Mate 9 Porsche Design in Europe. It remains to be seen as to when the company will introduce Mat 9 Pro in other countries.
