2016 Honda Brio facelift to reportedly launch in India on October 4

Honda has reportedly started manufacturing an updated version of its Brio at the Noida plant. This means that the Brio with a facelift will soon be rolled out for the Indian roads. The facelift is also meant to come with a few updates. The new Brio will reportedly launch in India on October 4.

The external upgrades include a new black grille that has a chrome underline and a new bumper at the front. It appears that these two changes are in line with the Honda Amaze facelift. The alloy wheels remain the same as the previous model, with a buff look and the exact pattern. There appears to be no change at the back, which means that the Indian-spec Honda Brio facelift does not have a rear wiper. The interior, however, is upgraded.

The dashboard isĀ also characteristically in line with the new Amaze and Honda BR-V. There is an all black dashboard and a backseat upholstery in the topmost model. The other models got a beige and black colors for the interiors.

The entertainment center has a new 2-DIN music system that can be operated through Bluetooth. The manual AC is replaced by the automatic climate control in the high variant. The others continue with the manual AC.

These changes may have been a result of the recent dip in sales of the Brio. The changes make it look more attractive, and hence the company expects to cash big during the festive season in India. The sale is expected to start in the next couple of weeks. As far as the price is concerned, there has been no word about any changes on that front.
