Bangalore: The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Gionee has launched the newest member of its Marathon series of smartphones, the Marathon M5 today in India. The M5 is equipped with a 6,020 mAh battery and priced at Rs. 17,999. The Gionee Marathon M5 is available to buy exclusively at Flipkart.
The Gionee Marathon M5 boasts a 5.5-inch HD AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 on the top.
Powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core 64-bit processor paired with 3GB of RAM, the handset offers 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

The Marathon M5 sports a 13MP main shutter with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. The main camera is capable of recording Full HD video at 1080p.
Out-of-the-box, the Gionee Marathon M5 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop (Amigo 3.1) operating system.
A 6,020 mAh Li-Po battery powers the phone, which company touts to deliver 557 hours of Standby time on 3G and 28 hours of Talktime on 3G.
