Royal Enfield and Flipkart have tied up, and now the online portal has the exclusive rights to sell their apparel and accessories. For the first time has the crowned motorcycle maker of the country has joined hands with a third party to sell its accessories. Earlier it only sold through its authorized retail network and website.
The 115 years old iconic motorcycle brand offers a wide range of purpose built riding gear, apparel, and accessories. Royal Enfield also has a wide range of clothing designed to enhance the motorcycling experience within cities or on weekend rides.
The motorcycle brand is quite popular among motorcyclists all over the country, and this ease of availability of other products is bound to inspire an increase in sales. Samrat Som, Head– Gear Business, Royal Enfield said –

The auto accessories on Flipkart has witnessed massive growth of 200% overall in the year 2016-17 compared to 2015-16. Currently, the category houses more than 3.5 lakh products. As part of this launch, Flipkart will display up an additional collection of over 70+ products in the first phase, and that will be followed by another 50+ auto accessories in the second phase to cover the whole Royal Enfield accessory range.
