Coolpad Note 3 Lite with 3GB RAM and Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system is launched in India. Priced at Rs. 6,999, Coolpad Note 3 Lite will be sold exclusively on Amazon India. The smartphone goes for preorder starting today, and company’s first flash sale begins on 28th January.

Earlier this week, PC-Tablet had reported that Coolpad is scheduled to launch a smaller variant of Coolpad Note 3 in India on 15th January. Recently, Coolpad expanded its budget Android smartphones lineup with Coolpad Note 3 Lite at a press event in New Delhi.


Coolpad Note 3 Lite sports a 5.0-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with company’s Cool UI 6.0 skin running on top.

Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 chipset and 3GB DDR3 RAM, Coolpad Note 3 Lite comes with an internal storage of 16GB, which is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

Coolpad Note 3 Lite features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The VoLTE-supported Dual-SIM phone features packs a fingerprint sensor at the back and packs a 2500mAh battery inside.

On the connectivity front, Coolpad Note 3 Lite supports WLAN, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Radio, USB, and OTG. It also supports Gravity sensor, Proximity sensor, light sensor and a magnetic sensor.
