Asus Zenfone AR with 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 821 launched in India

Taiwanese giant Asus has launched the Zenfone AR smartphone in India. The handset will be exclusively available via Flipkart. The Asus Zenfone AR is World first AR and Tango-enabled smartphone. The Asus Zenfone AR is priced at Rs.49,999 in India and will be available via Flipkart starting from today 4:00 PM.

The Asus Zenfone AR Specifications: The device sports a 5.7 inches WQHD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC clocked at 2.4GHz Quad-Core processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It packs 8GB RAM and 128 GB ROM with a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 2TB. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat right out of the box. The connectivity includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GLONASS, USB 2.0, and OTG. A 3300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support that with the bundled 18W charger can provide 60 percent capacity in 18 mins.

The device is equipped with TriCam system which consists of 3 rear cameras set up- a motion tracking, depth sensing, and 23MP high-resolution camera that enable users to create a three-dimensional model of its surroundings and track its motion. There is an 8-megapixel shooter up front for selfies and video chats. The handset features company’s proprietary SonicMaster 3.0 technology with 24-bit/192kHz DAC that boost up the audio frequencies to pump out the virtual 7.1-channel surround sound.
