Acclaimed Leaker Evan Blass Confirms 15 New Features of Upcoming Galaxy Note 8

Samsung’s much-hyped and keenly-awaited Galaxy Note 8 is around the corner, and acclaimed leaker Evan Blass or @evleaks has come up with 15 new features about the upcoming smartphone of the Korean Multinational. After revealing a cluster of detailed press images of the Note 8 earlier this week, Evan Blass now has leaked the final set of specifications of the Galaxy Note 8, and they are truly magnificent.

On Thursday, tweeting with quote “a person briefed on the device’s final configuration,” Evan Blass has revealed 15 key features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Among the most cutting-edge features, the Note 8 will be a premium Galaxy smartphone, with the IP68 water and dust certification. Measuring 162.5mm x 74.6mm x 8.5mm, the Phablet will feature a supermassive 6.3-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display with least bezels, paired with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and 1440 x 2960 (2K) display resolution.

Under the hood, the phone will be shipped with the Exynos 8895 chipset globally, while, for the United States only, it will boast the Snapdragon 835 of Qualcomm. With 6GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, the handset will lack the facility of micro-SD card slot. In the power section, Note 8 will be backed by a 3300mAh battery, alongside some premium features like Quick Charging and Wireless Charging via USB Type-C.

Likewise, in its camera department, Galaxy Note 8 will boast an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f1.7 aperture, while the rear panel of the device will host a dual camera set-up. With dual 12 megapixel snappers, the phone will also have some additional features like f/1.7 aperture with 2x optical zoom. The optical image stabilization will power both modules of the secondary camera.

With four color variants like Midnight Black, Orchid Grey, Maple Gold, and Deep Sea Blue, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to cost around $1,000 in the US. Samsung is declared to officially launch the Note 8 at its official event on 23rd August, and if the recent leak is real, we can expect the Note 8 to be a game changer for the Korean Company.
