Redmi Note 5A dedicated dual SIM slots

We are still a few days away from the official reveal of the Xiaomi Redmi note 5A. But there are some features which got confirmed recently about the smartphone. These features got confirmed by the CEO of the company; Lei Jun who mentioned that the smartphone would come with a dedicated microSD card slot with two dim slots.

The dedicated microSD card slot supports up to 128GB microSD card. This is the first time a Xiaomi smartphone will come with a dedicated microSD card slot in their smartphones. We still know a lot about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A specs and the outer appearance. Talking about the specs, the smartphone will be coming with a 5.5-inch display with HD 1280X720 resolution. The processor in it will be a 1.4GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 graphics processor. For multitasking, it will be featuring 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which is expandable to 128GB using the dedicated microSD card slot.

 

The phone will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with MIUI 9 user interface on top. The rear camera will be 13MP with LED flash, and the front-facing camera will be a 5MP shooter. It will also be featuring an IR blaster for controlling remote-controlled devices like TV and AC.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A is going to be 153.3 mm tall, 76.3 mm wide and 7.31 mm height; it might weight 150.2 grams. It further will be featuring 4G VoLTE connectivity, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and the GPS. The 3000 mAh battery will be enough for a full-day use.

There might also be a Xiomi Redmi Note 5A Prime/Pro, and it might be having a little pumped up specifications than Redmi Note 5A. It might have a 5.5 inches HD display. It might be running Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI 9 on top. The phone might be powered by a 1.4GHz octa core Snapdragon 435 processor with Adreno 505. Rest all the specs are similar except for the 3000 mAh battery and front, rear 16MP shooter.
