The Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has finally announced to unveil its flagship bezel-less Mi Mix 2 smartphone on September 11 in China. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone is designed by the popular French designer Philippe Starck who previously designed the previous gen Mi Mix smartphone. However, the designer already unveiled the phone in teaser video where it was evident that the Mi Mix 2 smartphone will follow nearly the same design parameter of its predecessor.
The phone is likely to sports a 93% screen to body ratio as compared to its predecessor which adheres 91.3% of the screen to body ratio. The smartphone also rumored to be equipped with the company’s proprietary technology i.e. Cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic system in place of a standard earpiece, similar to Mi Mix smartphone.
Moreover, the Mi Mix 2 is likely to be equipped with a 6.4 inches AMOLED panel and powered by Snapdragon 835 Chipset which paired with Adreno 540 GPU. The phone may come in two RAM and ROM variants i:e 4GB/128GB and 6GB/256GB. The smartphone is likely to be run on the Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system with custom MIUI 9 on the top.
The Mi Mix 2 may sport a dual 16MP camera on the rear which comes with a phase detection autofocus, and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. Whereas up front, the phone will adhere a 13MP sensor with F/2.2 aperture. The phone will be equipped with a Fingerprint sensor on the back and fuelled by 4500 mAh nonremovable battery which comes with Quick Charge 3.0.
Nonetheless, The connectivity may adhere Wi-Fi 802.11, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB Type-C. The phone may be unveiled in two color variants i:e Black and White and it will cost around 40,000 Indian bucks.
