It has been confirmed that Xiaomi is readying the Mi MIX 2 smartphone later this year. Recently the handset was spotted on GeekBench benchmarking website confirming some of the earlier leaked specifications. The Mi MIX 2 is the successor the last year’s game-changer; the Mi MIX.
According to the GeekBench listing, the device scored 1929 Single-Core point and 6431 Multi-Core point. However, the listing also suggests that the handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.
Recently, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has revealed that Mi MIX 2 will be designed by the same French designer Philippe Starck who had designed the predecessor Mi MIX and it is going to be launched in November. Furthermore, the handset was spotted on online Chinese retailer Gearbest in three RAM variants some time back.
According to the earlier rumors, the Mi Mix 2 will sport a 6.4 inches QHD display with a screen-to-body ratio of 93 percent; it will be powered by Snapdragon 835 with three RAM and ROM variants. The device will come in a ceramic back panel, and it will boost acoustic earphone technology. The Mi Mix 2 will have two SIM card slots with Dual Standby.
Mi MIX 2 will feature a 19-megapixel rear camera and 13-megapixel front shooter. It has USB Type-C port and Fingerprint sensor which is placed at the back of the device. The handset also offers 4G, WiFi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS / Glonass and micro USB. It will come with Ambient Light Sensor, Gravity Sensor, and Proximity Sensor.
