Xiaomi’s $520 Mi Mix concept smartphone got an overwhelming response, selling out in a matter of seconds. The Chinese manufacturer is rather popular for its value-packed offerings, ranging from competitively priced smartphones to affordable headphones and fitness wearables. Now, the company has announced a new wireless mouse — simply called the Mi Mouse.
Mi Mouse – Features and Availability
It weighs just under 78 grams, and features an anodized aluminum shell lending the device a rather neat and minimalist look. Besides, it’s a wireless laser mouse equipped with dual-mode connectivity, with support for Bluetooth 4.0 and 2,4Ghz wireless. This essentially allows the Mi Mouse to connect with two PCs at the same time at a distance of up to 10 meters. You also get the option to toggle between the two through a selector button located at the bottom of the mouse.
The Mi Mouse also features a 1200 dpi optical sensor and can work on a number of surfaces be it mouse pads, paper, frosted glass, table top and more. It packs two removable AA batteries, and is available in a choice of silver and gold color options. Priced at CNY 99 ($15 approx.), the Mi Mouse goes on sale in China on November 11. There’s no information yet about its availability in other parts of the globe.
