Chinese Smartphone manufacturer OnePlus will now be selling its handsets also on Flipkart.com from Monday, June 22, 2015.
Vikas Agarwal of OnePlus said. “Starting June 22, the OnePlus One 64GB (Black) will be available on Flipkart at Rs 21,999,”
The basic model of the handset is priced at Rs 18,999. The Silk White 16GB variant will be available in stores in a few weeks.
OnePlus One handset was exclusively available on Amazon and now the monopoly has been broken.
The device is equipped with a 5.5-inch display, and its other features are as below:
- Gorilla Glass 3 protection
- Snapdragon 801 processor
- 3GB RAM
- Android 4.4 KitKat
- 13MP rear camera
- 5MP front facing camera
- 3100mAh Lithium-ion battery
“At OnePlus, it has been our constant endeavour to evaluate and evolve our go-to-market strategy and this collaboration is another step in that direction.
“We are happy to have Flipkart as our new channel partner, in a bid to expand our reach and make OnePlus One more accessible to people across the country,” he said.
InDecember 2014, Indian Court had banned the sale of OnePlus One smartphones in India after a lawsuit filed by Micromax.
Micromax had cited reason that it has exclusivity for marketing devices with CyanogenMod software in India.
Later the ban was lifted.
