LG launches affordable Phablet G Pro Lite at Rs 22,990

With the festive season on, every handset company is launching their new products to entice users. LG has also launched its reasonably priced phablet G Pro Lite in India yesterday. The 5.5-inch display Phablet is available at Rs. 22,990.

The device is launched to give competition to other popular handsets like Sony Xperia C, Samsung Galaxy Grand and Micromax Canvas 4 amongst others. Phablet G Pro Lite is equipped with a stylus and is already available on e-commerce websites at lower prices.

With a resolution of 960x540p, the LG Phablet comes with an LCD display. The handset is also powered by a processor of 1GHz dual-core. G Pro Lite features 1GB RAM added with 8GB internal storage. The handset also features a microSD card slot.

In addition, the Phablet has two cameras including an 8MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front facing camera. Moreover, like most other popular devices, this one also runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. You can choose from the options of single and dual-SIM in this handset.

If you choose the single-SIM option, you get a normal home button. On the other hand, the dual-sim variant features an out-and-out hot key for switching sim cards. In terms of battery power, the G Pro Lite offers 3,140 mAh battery back-up along with other features like Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi Direct and 3G, 4G facilities. In addition, USB 2.0 and A-GPS are other connectivity features of the phone. The handset is 9.4mm thick, and it weighs about 161 gram.

Besides the above, the Phablet G Pro Lite from LG is also attached with other unique pre-loaded apps, which were available in the flagship Optimus G Pro and the latest G2 handsets of the company. Some of these apps include KnockOn, QTranslator, and QSlide. Pause and Resume Recording as well as QuickMemo are some other apps present in the handset. LG G Pro-Lite will be available in black and white colour options.
