LG G6 mini to launch as LG Q6 with 5.4-inch display and 3GB RAM

LG G6 Mini

LG rumored to be working on a mini version of LG G6 with a similar design but with a smaller 5.4 inches display. Technobuffalo has exposed the details like the display size, aspect ratio, RAM of the LG G6 mini, but there were no details about the model number. Evan Blass aka evleaks shared some details of LG Mini stating it as LG Q6.

According to the leaks, LG is keeping the display ratio similar to LG G6; 18.5:9. The screen to body ratio is also under 80 percent according to the article of TecoBuffalo. The LG Q6 (as stated by Evan Bass) is coming with a single 13-megapixel camera instead of a dual camera setup and 3GB of RAM instead of 4GB RAM. Evan Bass added that the phone just hit the FCC and has a model number M700.

Other specifications unknown at the movement, but LG could add a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC in LG Q6/ LG G6 Mini just like the original G6 and G6 Plus. People who like smaller form factor; the LG’s new offering might be a worthy pick if only LG could price the Q6 appropriately to take on its competitors like Apple and Samsung.

If LG is going to water down the specs then it is possible that the price will lower down a bit which will give LG a chance in the mid-ranged smartphone segment. No other details about the LG G6 Mini leaked, aside from the display’s aspect ratio, RAM and the name. We shall keep you updated as soon as we hear more about the new offering from LG, stay tuned.
