Flipkart disclosed that the Lenovo K6 Power smartphone has exceeded all expectations with 50,000 units selling out within one hour of opening the sale. According to Flipkart sources, the response to the Lenovo K6 Power packed with a massive 4000mAh battery has been phenomenal. Interestingly, the K-series smartphones gave Lenovo Number 1 position in India and all the models were sold exclusively on Flipkart.
Based on the data gathered from the in-house analytics, nearly 1,000 units were reportedly sold per minute after opening the sale. The customers were greeted with out of stock message within 45 minutes after the launch of Lenovo K6 Power.
Moreover, nearly 1.3 million unique prospective customers visited the product page of K6 Power on Flipkart. As many as half a million consumers expressed a keen interest in the newly launched smartphone before the sale.
Commenting on the development, Ajay Yadav, VP-Mobiles, Flipkart disclosed that Lenovo continues to be one of the most preferred brands among our customers with the official launch of K-series in India. The impressive support for the Lenovo K6 Power handset shows the trust of customers expressed on a brand they can rely upon. In fact, all models of K-series were a big hit in India.
Yadav added that the company is currently working overnight to make sure that enough stocks are back for the next sale. He said that Flipkart is expecting another mega sale on December 13 and are totally prepared for the event.
Meanwhile, Yadav said that the excitement shown by the customers is a testament to Lenovo’s consumer-centric approach. The K series is a star performer since it establishes connectivity with the youth. After the release of Lenovo K6 Power, the popularity has increased double fold.
In the meantime, Sudhin Mathur, Executive Director, Lenovo Mobile Business Group, India also stepped in to say that the Lenovo K6 Power is an all-around performer that has obviously struck the right chord with the consumers. This is based on the value, technology, design, and features.
Lenovo K6 Power features a 5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 430 Processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing snapper loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. A 4000mAh battery supplies adequate power for the handset.
