Karbonn launched Quattro L50 HD exclusively via Amazon in Coffee, Blue, and Grey color variants at Rs. 7990. Powered by 4G connectivity, the dual-SIM phone supports both FDD 1800 MHz and TDD 2300 MHz 4G LTE bands in India.

Unlike previous Karbonn smartphones, Karbonn Quattro L50 HD includes a customized user interface named Kandy on the top of Android Lollipop.

Karbonn revealed that Kandy offers an integrated PCM that enables users to access all important call and messaging functions within a single menu with one swipe. Moreover, users can also customize the UI to suit their requirements.

Karbonn further added that it has also incorporated security mechanisms in place, which enable users to choose the kind of information that they would like to share.

Featuring a 5-inch IPS Full lamination display with 1280×720 pixels resolution, Karbonn Quattro L50 comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Expandable up to 32GB via microSD card, the phone ships with 16GB of internal storage.

Karbonn Quattro L50 HD features a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture in addition to phase detection autofocus (PDAF), Blue Glass filter, and LED flash support. As with other similar smartphones, the front-facing camera houses a 5-megapixel fixed focus sensor.

To enhance the user experience for music lovers, Karbonn Quattro L50 HD offers audio enhancers, volume boosters and surround mode features. Measuring just 8.8mm in thickness, the phone weighs 135 grams with support for all major connectivity options.

Packed with a 2650mAh lithium-polymer battery, the Karbonn Quattro L50 HD promises to deliver up to 200 hours of standby time and 8 hours of talk time including 4 hours of 4G talk time.

As of this writing, Karbonn Quattro L50 HD is available on Amazon India at Rs. 7,949 with the price expected to reduce by 26th January during the Republic Day specials. Moreover, Karbonn is in the process of establishing tie-ups with other e-commerce stores.

Karbonn has also recently launched its entry level K9 Smart with support for 21 Indian languages at Rs. 3,990.
