Coolpad today revealed the nest edition of their popular budget smartphone series, Coolpad Note 5 Lite is a budget smartphone, but there are some real numbers on the specs sheet. Coolpad Note 5 Lite is exclusively available on Amazon via and open sale starting today for a price tag of 8,199 INR. It will be available in two color variants; gold and gray with a metallic body and rear fingerprint sensor.

The device is powered by MediaTek 6735CP 1 GHz quad core processor and ARM Mali 720 GPU. The display is 5 inches IPS panel with HD resolution and 294 PPI pixel density which is a good display according to the price. The RAM is 3GB and internal memory is 16 GB which can further be extended to 64 GB via SD card, and OTG support is there to connect USB flash drives.
The camera is 13 MP AF on the back and 8MP on the front with LED flash or selfies. There are lots of sensors including accelerometer, proximity sensor, light sensor and fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor is located on the back below the camera module. Note 5 Lite supports 4G LTE but there is no information about supporting VoLTE HD voice calling.
