Barely few days ago we received news that Bharti Airtel, one of the leading telecom operators in India had cut short validity period of recharge vouchers.
The move generated reaction from different quarters. As such, today, the company announced an offer, intended to placate its disappointed subscribers.
Airtel, today introduced its Night Store, a first of its kind store to customers where users can select from a bouquet offers with multiple benefits.
The benefits include multiple unlimited-usage service schemes starting from Rs 7, all for pre-paid customers. They can even enjoy free unlimited access to Facebook.
The company is also offering 500 MB of 3G service for Rs 29 and 1GB of 3G for Rs 49 during night in service areas covering 3G spectrum.
All the offers have flowed in the same month when the company has reduced benefit on mobile calls and internet under some schemes.
Bharti Airtel Limited, on Wednesday stated:
“Bharti Airtel today introduced its Night Store – a first of its kind store that will enable customers to buy value for money offers on their prepaid mobile for internet usage and local calling at night, 12 midnight – 6am,”
The offer is available or limited/restricted to selected cities only. Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, UP(West), J&K, West Bengal, Bihar, Rajasthan, North East, Assam.
To avail the Night Store offers, all Airtel prepaid subscribers can simply dial *129# or call at 129 or even log to Airtel website.
Airtel dominates Indian mobile phone services market with over 22 per cent share. It has over 20 crore subscribers, as per TRAI (Telecom regulatory Authority) data.
