Nokia recently launched Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and Nokia 6 smartphones in India, though Nokia 3 is available offline, While the Nokia 5 is up for pre-orders, Nokia 6 pre-order will kick start later this week. While the Nokia 5 is an offline exclusive model, the Nokia 6 will be available via Amazon.in. Pre-orders for Nokia 5 model have started but there is no clear date regarding the availability. Today HMD Global has finally mentioned that these smartphones will go on sale from Mid-August in India.
While talking to NokiaPowerUser, HMD Global said that after the market performance of Nokia 3, it will bring Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 to the Indian market by mid-August. The company is also increasing the production of Nokia 3 on priority to meet the customer’s demand. And in the coming week, HMD will start the production of Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 to get ready for sales in mid-August. HMD has tentative plans to start the sales of Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 on August 15 which is the Independence Day of India.
This clearly hints that the sales of Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 is not going to be started before August. Nokia 6 is going to be an Amazon exclusive smartphone and registrations will begin on Friday, July 14. The prices for the Nokia 3 is Rs. 9,499 and Nokia 5 is priced at Rs. 12,899 and Nokia 6 is priced at 14,999 in India.
