Noise Master Buds Open Design and Audio Setup
The Master Buds Open steps away from traditional in-ear canal tips and relies on an open-ear C-bridge format. This design clips around the outer ear, keeping the ear canal open so listeners can hear traffic, office chats, or public announcements while streaming media.
On the acoustic side, Noise includes a 10.8mm custom dynamic driver developed alongside Bose sound profiles. Users get a co-developed Dynamic EQ system loaded with six sound presets. Voice calls rely on four microphones backed by Deep Neural Network (DNN) environmental noise cancellation to filter out background racket on roads and crowded spaces.
Battery Life and Connectivity
The charging case and earbuds together deliver up to 28 hours of total playback time. Rapid charging support allows users to top up the battery quickly before heading out. For sweat protection during workouts and walks in light rain, the earbuds carry an IPX4 water resistance rating.
Wireless performance runs on Bluetooth 5.4. Dual-point connectivity is present, letting you pair two devices at the same time, such as an office laptop and an Android smartphone, with fast switching between them. Android users also gain Google Fast Pair for one-tap pairing.
Companion App Features
Users can adjust touch controls and select Bose equalizer settings via the Noise Audio companion app. The app package brings Spatial Audio for wider sound staging, along with an AI voice tool named Chat AI that handles transcription tasks directly on the phone.
Noise co-founder Amit Khatri stated that the Master Buds Open serves buyers who want high-grade personal audio without losing awareness of their physical surroundings.
