Xiaomi has officially announced that it will not only attend CES 2017 but also launch new products. The announcement was made through the company’s official Weibo page. The CES 2017 event will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada starting from January 5 to 8.
The teaser shows that Xiaomi will conduct an event on January 5, 2017, at Venetian Ballroom C from 11 to 11.45 AM. The message below the Calendar shows that the company will make its debut at CES event and will showcase a wide range of exciting products. Moreover, the new products will push the boundaries of innovation.
Xiaomi recently launched Mi MIX. Hence, it’s hard to guess as to which product will be launched at CES 2017 event. However, we can expect rumors and leaks from now on since the company has officially confirmed its presence at CES 2017.
According to industry analysts, the very fact that Xiaomi is attending CES 2017 doesn’t mean that it’s making a mark in the US market. The company has already introduced 4K Android TV box in Walmart.
Xiaomi is currently offering a wide range of smartphones under both Mi and Redmi series in China and India. The Redmi Note 3 is the hottest selling item in India. The company also launched Vacuum cleaner and Air Purifiers in India and was welcomed by gadget enthusiasts. The Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime launched in August is generating a great pulse in India among youths.
Xiaomi’s presence at CES 2017 assumes great significance especially the rival LeEco established its shop in the US by conducting series of flash sales.
